What advice would you give your younger self?
Dream big. Make success a daily habit. Don't focus on the reasons you cannot succeed—focus on the countless ways you can. Believe, act, and keep moving forward.

Grand Teton National Park

What made you want to pursue a career in nursing?
Nursing (science) was a new discipline yet to be further developed.

What book should every nurse read?
Our Iceberg Is Melting: Changing and Succeeding Under Any Conditions by John Kotter and Holger Rathgeber.

What has been your most interesting/surprising outcome while conducting nursing research?
My research found that women delay longer than men in seeking medical help when they have a heart attack, and this phenomenon is common across countries

What is a fun fact many people may not know about you?
I am adventurous.
