Support Nursing Research
When you support FNINR, you are advancing the future of nursing research and ensuring that science continues to improve care for all people.
Where Your Gift Goes
- Advocacy: Your gift helps to secure a strong federal budget for NINR, so that nurse scientists can continue to make transformative improvements in health, reduce disparities, and advance healthcare. Nursing research bridges the gap between laboratory science and real-world patient care; without NINR, this connection is lost.
- Ambassadors: Training and supporting nurse leaders to educate policymakers on the value of nursing research.
- Recognition: Your support helps shine a spotlight on nurse scientists, raising their visibility and influence as they drive meaningful change.
How FNINR Uses Your Contribution
Every dollar contributed to FNINR goes toward one central goal: advancing nursing research through advocacy and awareness. This ensures that NINR has the resources to fund groundbreaking studies that improve health outcomes across the lifespan. Read more about your contributions in action
Ways to Give
There are multiple ways to support nursing research through support of FNINR. All details are below, but we find that most donors support in one of three ways:
- One-time donation
- Recurring donation
- Planned giving
Friend of the Friends
The Friend of the Friends Program is designed to give supporters of nursing research the opportunity to become a Friend and support the mission of FNINR. Donations are recognized in the name of the donor, in honor of a colleague or mentor, or in memory of a person who inspired you. All donors, beginning at a cumulative donation of at least $100, will receive a recognition pin, starting at the Pewter level. Each donation you make to the Friends program will accumulate to bring you up to the next level. You’ll receive a new lapel pin each time you achieve a new level. If you’ve donated previously, you’ll start at the Pewter level and receive the same Friend of the Friends benefits as before. Please note that funds paid toward sponsorships and registration for the NightinGala do not count toward the Friends program.
