Why did you want to become an FNINR Ambassador?
With nine years as a staff nurse and a decade as a nurse scientist and faculty member, I've seen how profoundly nurses shape patient care, but I've also learned that sustaining that impact requires policy that strengthens the nursing workforce and nursing research. I wanted to become an FNINR Ambassador to turn that belief into action by educating Congressional members and their staff about the importance of nursing research and helping make nursing more visible.
